Join us for this winter's webinar season. We have free sessions covering a wide variety of avalanche topics for a wide variety of users and recordings of each session, in case you missed one.
Let’s be honest, most of us don’t practice companion rescue as much as we should. When we do, it’s often a quick transceiver search in a parking lot that feels more like ticking a box than building real skills. Join an Avalanche Canada Lead Field Technician/Avalanche Forecaster, to learn how to turn not-so-perfect practice into high-quality training that’s fun, realistic, efficient, and builds your skills for when it counts. Pros practice every season. If you travel in avalanche terrain, you should too. Sponsored by EVR.

Are you new to the backcountry or looking for a refresher? We focus on the basics of avalanche terrain, how to recognize and avoid avalanche terrain, what equipment is needed and what resources are available. Join Avalanche Canada forecaster, Paul Kehler, to decipher the nuances of terrain, recognize hazards, and help you safely route-find on your adventures this season. We will also cover trip planning and preparedness with a presentation from BC AdventureSmart. Sponsored by EVR.
